Send IT, ELR Shooting North vs. South ELR Knockout Challenge • It is always fun to be part of something new. In this instance, the North vs. South ELR (Extreme Long Range) Knockout Challenge. The inaugural event was held on October 2025 at Matroosbergstasie Shooting Range. The event originated during the usual banter when a group of shooters challenged each other to prove who the more competent squad of ELR shooters was.

Boland Shotgun Level III Selection Match • The Boland Practical Shooting Association (BPSA) hosted its Shotgun Level III selection match at the Kraaifontein Sport Shooting Club from 25 to 26 October. Range Officers competed in the pre-match on Thursday 23 October. The match itself consisted of 198 rounds (153 birdshot, 21 buckshot, 24 slug) and 15 stages. A total of 120 competitors made up seven squads. This was also the South African Championship 2025 match, with competitors winning trophies and medals for the year.
